Kal Dance Project - January - Studio
January had us trying something different for me... Studio style. As a natural light photographer I am not used to using studio lights although I have used them a couple of times before it has been for a stationary subject and not one that is moving which creates a whole set of challenges that I don't normally come across . Part of this project is to highlight the wonderful dancers in our Goldfields region and the other part of it is to challenge myself with my creativity and trying new things. This theme did all of that and more! As always the young ladies were a dream to work with bringing their enthusiasm and skill to the forefront so that I can capture these beautiful images. How hard these ladies work to perfect their skills is beyond crazy. Their passion and drive for what they do is truly admirable.
